Cole was contacted by American rapper Jay-Z and subsequently signed to his record label Roc Nation, in 2009. He started releaseing more emblums during that year, and he did the same thing for the next year. His alblums was soon number one in America. He received a nomination for Best New Artist at the 54th Grammy Awards.He got BET Hip Hop Award for Best Live Performer in 2015, BET Hip Hop Award for Best Mixtape in 2011,BET Hip Hop Award for Best Impact Track in 2013, Billboard Music Award for Top Rap Album in 2014, BET Hip Hop Award for Best Album of the Year 2015, YouTube Music Award in 2015.
